Ethiopia, the birthplace of Arabica coffee, produces some of the most delightful coffees in the world. The high elevations of Yirgacheffe, where coffee grows slowly, allow additional time for trees to deliver nutrients to the coffee and develop the best flavors. The coffee is grown by small landholders who own around around 0.25 to 2 hectares of land, which they call the garden production system.
Yirgacheffe coffee consistently rates one of the best tasting among the world’s finest specialty arabica coffees. This coffee from the southern region of Ethiopia displays a bright acidity - a lemon tart twist - and a medium body with a clean taste. Hence our decision to go for light and medium roasts for this coffee, allowing its delicate qualities to shine and enhancing the coffee’s bright acidity. As you sip your freshly brewed coffee, you will enjoy its flavors to the fullest.
