Originating from a natural reserve in the high mountains of Matagalpa in Nicaragua, Los Pinos organic coffee has been produced since 1986 by the Corrales family, in compliance with standards for the protection and preservation of the surrounding natural resources. Based on family knowledge passed down from generation to generation, the cultivation of beans at Los Pinos Farm provides a medium-bodied coffee with sweet flavors. These flavors are partly explained by the treatment called “honey process” applied to these organic coffee beans, which results in a golden color of the beans before roasting, and a balanced and subtly sweet cup when tasting.
