Papua New Guinea, a nation of 600+ islands and 715 indigenous languages, raves about their coffees' great sweetness, butter quality and wonderful complexity. Our coffee comes from small holders (farmers with coffee gardens around their homes) in Simbu Province. Nearly 90% of the population in this province is engaged in coffee production in some degree. Given the importance of coffee to the people, Simbu Province now produces some of the best smallholder coffee in Papua New Guinea.
This dark roasted coffee has a low acidity and body, little sweet, and an excellent balance. This specialty coffee was given a score of 84/100 by cupping consultants.
